How to Use This Map / Mode d'emploi

Use the Map and Satellite buttons to switch between the street map and aerial imagery, and the + and − buttons to zoom. Click ⛶ Fullscreen for a larger view; press Escape or tap ✕ Exit Fullscreen to return.

OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.

Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.

📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Mode d'emploi.

About Plusquellec

Plusquellec sits quietly within the verdant heart of Bretagne, a landscape defined by the Ruisseau de Pont ar Floc'h and the ancient, brooding presence of the Bois de Maroux. Here, the land is etched with granite and slate, where hedged bocage guards the slow turn of the seasons. On the horizon, the Mont Saint-Michel rises above the rolling terrain. Visitors may discover the monumental stone giants at La Vallée des Saints, explore the weathered stone of the Pont gaulois dit de Sainte-Catherine, or wander the grounds of the Château de Coat An Noz, all set amidst a countryside where rain often drifts in from the Atlantic.
