Pigna rests upon the slopes where the scent of immortelle hangs heavy in the heat, a drystone village caught between the granite mountains and the Mediterranean. Below, the Ruisseau de Teghiella winds through the landscape as the high ridges of Monte Grosso loom on the horizon. Nearby, the ruins of the Tour génoise de Spano stand sentinel over the headlands, while the Couvent Saint-Dominique offers a silent refuge amid the maquis. A short distance away, the Phare de la Pietra marks the rugged coastline, guiding the eye across a terrain defined by ancient chestnut forests and the deep blue of the sea.
Pigna s'accroche aux pentes où le parfum de l'immortelle s'alourdit sous la chaleur, village de pierre sèche niché entre les montagnes de granit et la Méditerranée.
