How to Use This Map / Mode d'emploi

Use the Map and Satellite buttons to switch between the street map and aerial imagery, and the + and − buttons to zoom. Click ⛶ Fullscreen for a larger view; press Escape or tap ✕ Exit Fullscreen to return.

OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.

Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.

📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Mode d'emploi.

About Blémerey

Blémerey rests within the gentle rhythms of the Meurthe-et-Moselle, a landscape defined by the quiet interplay of the Ruisseau de l'Étang and the nearby la Vezouze. Here, the forest comes right up to the fields, and the Bois de l'Étang offers a sanctuary of shadowed paths. Beyond the village, the horizon is held by the distant Haut de Linchamp, while the Parc Naturel Régional de Lorraine preserves the wilder spirit of the region. A short journey reveals the haunting Borne Vauthier, the imposing stone of the Fort de Manonviller, and the weathered ruins of the Château de Blâmont, each echoing the weight of long-standing history.

À propos de Blémerey
