Rozières-sur-Mouzon rests within a landscape defined by the quiet flow of le Mouzon and the encroaching presence of le Creuchot woodland. Set upon the plateau, the village reflects a region defined by iron and red ochre stone, where forest edges press directly against the fields. Beyond the immediate hills, the horizon is anchored by the summit of Mont Saint-Étienne. A short distance away, the ruins of the Abbaye de Morimond emerge from the landscape, while the Château de Saint-Ouen and the distant Château d'Harcourt stand as reminders of the area's layered history, all situated between the valleys of the Moselle and the Meuse.
Rozières-sur-Mouzon s'inscrit dans un paysage façonné par le cours paisible du Mouzon et la proximité immédiate du bois du Creuchot.
