OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.
Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.
📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.
Mode d'emploi.

Bosc-Bérenger rests within the quiet embrace of the Plaine de Socquentot, a landscape defined by the rhythmic pattern of the bocage, where thick hedges shelter cattle in wet pastures. Nearby, the woods of Bois de la Bucaille offer deep shade, while the river le Hareng traces a gentle path through the terrain. The horizon is marked by the modest rise of Mont à Cat. Beyond these fields, one might encounter the enduring weight of history at the Parc du Bocasse or explore the elegant grounds of Château de Bosmelet. The air here holds that soft, grey light, a place where orchards yield cider and the past is carried with a quiet, somber grace.
