📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Aspin-Aure lies tucked within the Aire d'Adhésion du Parc National des Pyrénées, where the land rises toward the Signal de Bassia. The Coume du Tech carves its way through this rugged terrain, flanked by the shadows of the Sapinière de l'Aréouse and the heights of Pène Guilhemteste. Visitors often find themselves drawn to the legendary Col d'Aspin, a gateway to the high passes, or wander toward the shimmering waters of the Lac de Payolle. In the wider countryside, the stone walls of the Tour de la Prison stand as a quiet witness to the enduring character of these mountain slopes.
Aspin-Aure s'étire au sein de l'Aire d'Adhésion du Parc National des Pyrénées, là où le relief s'élève vers le Signal de Bassia. La Coume du Tech sillonne ce paysage escarpé, bordée par les ombres de la Sapinière de l'Aréouse et les crêtes de Pène Guilhemteste. Les visiteurs sont naturellement attirés par le célèbre Col d'Aspin, véritable sentinelle des sommets, ou par la quiétude des rives du Lac de Payolle. Plus loin dans la vallée, les pierres anciennes de la Tour de la Prison témoignent avec sobriété du caractère indomptable de ces terres de haute montagne.
