Nocellari sits quietly among the mountain folds of the comune of Scilla, where the air grows thin and sharp. The summit of I Ruschi rises directly above the village, casting long shadows over the modest masonry of the surrounding buildings. Nearby, the Fiumara di Favazzina carves a deep, stony path toward the sea, while the heights of Serro Indice define the horizon. A short distance away, the Ruffo Castle of Scilla commands the rocky promontory, and the Scilla Lighthouse warns ships crossing the strait. Down on the shore, the Sirens' Beach catches the salt-heavy breeze that drifts inland from Capo Peloro.

La cima de I Ruschi sovrasta l'abitato, proiettando ombre lunghe sulle modeste murature che compongono il nucleo del paese. Poco distante, la Fiumara di Favazzina scava un solco di pietra verso il mare, mentre le alture del Serro Indice segnano il profilo dell'orizzonte. A breve distanza, il Castello Ruffo di Scilla domina il promontorio roccioso, accompagnato dal Faro di Scilla che vigila sulle correnti dello stretto. Più in basso, la Spiaggia delle Sirene accoglie la brezza salmastra che risale verso l'entroterra da Capo Peloro.
