Avacelli is a village set within the rolling hills of the Marche, perched near Colle Busco and the S. Ansovino valley. The land here feels quiet, defined by the persistent spring of Fonte Rosa and the sweeping terrain of the Parco Naturale Regionale della Gola della Rossa e di Frasassi. It remains a distinct part of the wider comune of Arcevia, flanked by the nearby settlements of Trivio and Acquafosca. Visitors may explore the local Chiesa della Madonna di Loreto or travel a short distance to the Abbazia di Sant'Elena and the ruins of the Eremo di Grottafucile, which emerge from the pale, fractured earth.
