Castellar is a quiet village tucked into the hilly landscape of the province of Cuneo, forming part of the wider comune of Saluzzo. The air here holds a crisp clarity, often carrying the scent of damp earth from the nearby Sorgente Molinera. To the west, the slopes rise toward the Costiera di San Grato, marking a horizon defined by the rugged shapes of the western Alps.
