Il paesaggio è segnato dalla vicina Riserva Naturale della Confluenza del Bronda, dove l'umidità risale dal letto del Torrente Varaita. Verso occidente, il profilo del Monte Bianco si staglia nitido contro il cielo. A breve distanza, il Castello della Manta svetta sul pendio con la sua severa architettura, mentre il Castello di Verzuolo domina il fondovalle. L'aria qui conserva una qualità ferma e asciutta, tipica di un territorio che guarda con rispetto alla severità delle vette alpine circostanti.
