La Villa is a frazione of Sansepolcro, defined by the rugged terrain of the Alpe della Luna which defines its local character. The village rests within the folds of Le Gotiche and Ranco Buriano, with the high ground of Poggio di Moscheto and Col del Sasso watching over the surroundings. Beyond the immediate hills, the landscape opens toward the Fiume Metauro and the nearby Lago di Montedoglio. Within the wider comune, one finds the Eremo di Montecasale, a place of quiet reflection, alongside the historic Civic Museum of Sansepolcro and the imposing Fortezza Medicea, which guard the memory of the valley floor.
