Port Sunlight's distinctive Edwardian architecture creates a unique suburban character. It lies 2.5 km north-north-west of Bebington (from Bebington: bearing 333°T, OS grid SJ 338 843). Founded by William Hesketh Lever, later Lord Leverhulme, Port Sunlight was built to house the workers of his Sunlight Soap factory.
