About Beighton

Beighton is a village and civil parish in the Broadland district of Norfolk, England, about 2 miles (3.2 km) south-west of Acle and 13 miles (21 km) east of Norwich. It covers an area of 7.63 square kilometres (2.95 sq mi) and in 2011 had a population of 436 in 185 households. Today, Beighton incorporates the old parish of Moulton St Mary; both parishes are mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086.
