The Grove emerges from the Norfolk loam as a quiet collection of dwellings defined by the sparse, open character of the Broadland landscape. It lies 1.8 miles east-south-east of Reepham (from Reepham: bearing 113°T, OS grid TG 126 218), and is situated west-north-west of Brandiston village. Here, the horizon holds a vast, pale sky that presses down upon the fields with a weight both humbling and serene. To the west, the gentle rise of Eve’s Hill breaks the flatness, offering a vantage point where the light catches the dew long after the sun has climbed above the hedgerows.
