It lies 2.3 miles east-south-east of Ilminster (from Ilminster: bearing 112°T, OS grid ST 392 133), and is situated south-south-west of Seavington St Mary village. Below this rise, the land dips toward the southern greenery where the hidden Langhills Goil carves a slow, deliberate path through the terrain.
