It lies 1.3 miles south of Crewkerne (from Crewkerne: bearing 183°T, OS grid ST 440 076), and is situated west-south-west of Misterton village. The land here rises sharply to the west-north-west towards the slopes of Shave Hill, where the wind often carries the scent of damp earth and distant pasture. Residents look out across a landscape defined by its agricultural heritage, where the rhythm of the seasons dictates the pace of the morning light. To the west-south-west, the higher ground of Seaborough Hill provides a natural boundary that shields the hamlet from the more exposed reaches of the county.
