Limonta sits upon the hillside overlooking the Ramo di Lecco, where the air feels cool and drawn from the deep water. As a frazione of Oliveto Lario, it occupies a quiet slope above the lake, distinct from the nearby village of Guello. The Ara Celtica remains grounded here, a silent presence of early occupation. A short journey leads to the Castello di Lierna, which commands the rocky shore, or to the Santuario della Madonna del Ghisallo, situated where the winds gather from the high peaks. The light here shifts quickly, caught between the Ramo di Lecco and the shadows of the Grigna Settentrionale.
